John Durrant was the sole graduate from the Watch Making Program in 1971 from George Brown College. Since that time, John has dedicated his life to collecting, restoring and trading time pieces of every shape and description.
After George Brown College canceled their watch making course, all their equipment and teaching materials for training purposes were ordered to be disposed of. John was able to rescue these precious items from certain extinction and incorporate them into the Creemore Clock and Watch Co. and The Canadian Museum of Time. John moved the business to Creemore in 1991 and has been a vital part of Creemore culture ever since. John’s business draws customers and curiosity seekers from around the Central and Southern Ontario area and his shop delights and inspires all who venture in.
James Durrant, John's father, graduated from the Provincial Institute of trades as a watch maker. 3 GENERATIONS OF WATCH & CLOCK REPAIR PEOPLE.
